A reliable off-leash recall is like having your dog on an invisible leash 24/7. This is an advanced skill that I train in my two week board and train program. In this video, Belle demonstrates how great off-leash training can be. Belle is actually chilling underneath the pavilion in a off-leash down/stay. When I give her the here command, she comes running to me, sits and looks up at me to praise her for a job well done. Belle is a dog that requires special training to build her level of confidence making this exercise more difficult for her. Climbing the playground equipment to reach me is an confidence building exercise.
