A religious observation, on this holiest of holy days. (or was that yesterday?) Historians have long debated whether we will ever really know what Moses looked like. The weight of academic opinion is that we will not, thereby leaving it up to each of us to fantasize what Moses looked like, as we wish. (this was occasioned by this comment by my friend EK, via email: I have a latke with a burn mark that looks exactly like Moses. Look for it on OyBay.)
