A reminder of how one can find forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ The Lord.. No one can do enough righteous acts or good deeds to enter heaven. Even if we could, we still have a sin nature inherited from Adam that would keep us from a relationship with God. Anyone born after Adam was born in Adams likeness, NOT created in the image of God (Genesis 5:3). It is only IN Jesus Christ that a person is restored to the image of Him. We must confess Jesus as Lord whom God has raised from the dead; the sacrificial Lamb of God who took the place of sinners on the cross. He paid our debt and Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—(Gal. 3:13)...but in order to appropriate that forgiveness we must (I repeat) confess Jesus as Lord whom God has raised from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). Such confession will result in works led by the Spirit as Jesus said, My sheep know my voice and follow Me (John 10:27). 2 Corinthians 5:21, He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. There is no magical prayer to pray, no aisle that needs walked, no card that needs filled out... Confess Jesus as Lord whom God has raised from the dead...True confession results in obedience to Him and the first act of obedience is to confess Him before others through immersion water baptism signifying that you have been buried in Christs death, but raised in Him to walk in His Spirit. You will also be obedient in having regular fellowship with other Christians (Hebrews10:25) because only in the Body of Christ can each member exercise their spiritual gifts for the edification of the whole body. John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
