Please do not be too hard on yourselves as I too have fallen into this trap, and guilt is one of the most useless, incapacitating feelings we have can develop. As Maya Angelou indicated: Once we know better, we do better using small, consistent steps to unlearn habits that damage our inner spirit and the world around us. Thereby replacing the negative habits with kinder, more caring, healthier habits that sustains our inner spirit and the world around us. It is also something to keep in mind as we head to the voting polls this year and next, knowing full well the marketing machine and image consultants are seriously at work.
