A resident near Night & Day has complained about live music being played at a well know live music venue that was open and hosting live music for 22 years before this person moved in. Living in a city centre and complaining about noise is frankly ridiculous and this complaint should be laughed out by the council. If someone moved to a remote Scottish island and was upset there wasnt a Starbucks on every street corner then youd call them mad. This is exactly the same. If Night & Day faces sanctions because of this then this could set a dangerous precedent for other venues. Please share this link and help protect Manchesters fine history of live music.
