A resident of Mookgophong (Naboomspruit) - specifically Gholfpark - sent in this video clip which shows tadpoles swimming in what is allegedly their tap water. AfriForum approached the North Gauteng High Court for proper water supply in Naboomspruit (Mookgophong), after water supply in the town came to a standstill at the end of September. “We probed the matter and found that 44 % of the drainage outlets are blocked by sludge. Mud can’t be pumped out as the drainage pipes are clogged. The water can’t filtrate properly due to the sludge in the catch dams, and as a result, the community is supplied with muddy water,” Philip van Staden, Chairman of the AfriForum branch in Naboomspruit, said.
