A response to Gene Simmons statement that rock is dead, spoken by our fearless singer Randy Blake that is too good not to share .Keeping in mind that he has said the same thing since 1978... and yet he and rock remains. There is a ton of great rock of all degrees of hard and heavy out there but youll never find it from any major label or mainstream media. People need to stop accepting the rubbish they are given as the only thing out there and go looking for music they like from other places because the music they really like IS out there!! Go find it. Im proud of our little indy label. We know whats going on all the time and dont get pushed around. So please dont listen to mainstream music media as the gospel for what rocks and what does not. They truly have no idea what music is out there. As for rock being dead?? YouTube Wacken 2014 and tell me rock of any kind is dead all around the world. The festival fully sold out for next year in a couple of hours after the last band of the show performed. Rock is dead in the U.S. because people let the record labels DICTATE to them what was good music or bad music and only YOU should make that choice. People let that choice be taken from them, take it back. Labels are confused right now as to why new Judas Priest, Accept and Overkill has debuted so high on the chart. I love it. Support the music you love whether it is an album from a legendary act or a new indy band. Do not settle for what is handed to you and you are TOLD you are going to enjoy it. Drug pushers do that. Take your music back or settle for Nicki Manaj. \m/ Rock on people ! Supoort your favorite local original bands ! \m/
