A response to the NCP(OC) on their piece, Self-Criticism and Summation on Patriarchy, from the NCP(LC), i.e. Liaison Committee. the NCP(LC) came out of a split in the NCP(OC) after the line struggle over the OCs Gonzaloite deviation reached its sharpest point. The OC upholds that male chauvinism is the principal contradiction in the development of the OC. While male chauvinism is an important contradiction to be handle when doing politics, we do not recognize that over the reason why our faction in the NCP(OC) split. We left due to the irreconcilable nature of the line struggle with Gonzaloism, due to the inability of a leadership constituted by comrades who were not experienced as mass leaders as much as they are in theory, to recognize that the principal contradiction was between different political lines. We believe in the need to have an outward focus to uniting the advanced forces and earning a position of leadership among the masses. Thus, we have formed a Liaison Committee to integrate communists for the task of building a Maoist party in the US.
