A resurfacing project along approximately one mile of Route 6 in Wellsboro, Tioga County, is scheduled to start Monday, July 14. Work includes milling, base repairs, ADA curb ramps, paving, pavement markings, drainage and other miscellaneous construction. Work will take place from approximately 0.1 miles southwest of the intersection of Route 4002 (Charleston Street) to approximately 0.5 miles west of the intersection of Route 3011 (Shumway Hill Road). Traffic will be restricted to a single lane through the work zone with flaggers and daylight signing controlling traffic flow. Work is scheduled for completion by mid-September.
