Israel has targeted more than 1,500 targets in #Gaza, destroying 600 homes, four mosques, six medical facilities and damaging more than 12,000 homes. At least 230 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,600 injured since the conflict commenced on July 8. Meanwhile, more than 1,300 rockets have been fired into Israel, with most being intercepted by Israels Iron Dome. The rockets have killed one Israeli and injured at least 13. Despite acceptance of a cease fire proposal several days ago by Israel and the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, Gaza-based Hamas has rejected it, claiming it would amount to submission.
