A sad day for us all. For so many people whose lives changed everywhere across the globe including the killers and their families. We humans have a long road ahead of us towards peace. It was such a horrible thing to wake up to and to somehow forget this was my dads birthday. To somehow be so glued to the television to not even remember til the evening, makes me feel sick and ashamed. When I did he understood and said we would celebrate next year. As it turned this was to be his last birthday. I am sorry dad, I miss you more now with each passing year. Unfortunately a lot of what you told would come of this horrible event, has, did and is again picking up steam. Because of this anniversary and the current state of the world, it will be good to get this day over with. Crazy people out there dad, you were right. Still, I am glad I had you for my dad. I wish I had of told you this, even once. The older I get the more I realize what is important. I miss you dad, hugs to you and mom. When I went new Annan this summer youd be happy to know there are still dear up in the park, chomping apples right there at yours and moms resting place.
