A sad day indeed for me. A very happy day for this kind and gentle gentle grandpa. Zorba left home to be united with his mom and 2 husky brother and sister. Wilna Mekisich came to pick him up this morning and they will be moving to their new home and sunny future in Parys. We both agreed that it would be better for him to stay but unfortunately it is not possible now. Zorba came to me in July and has been part of the family since day one. There is no regrets besides the fact that i would have loved him to stay. But life sometimes takes you on roads you can not change and only time can change that. Wilna pls know that I love him dearly and if/when needed that i am a phone call away. I do not know what my own future holds, but we will keep in contact and I would love to get some pictures of him from time to time and if possible i would not mind to drive to the Free State and visit him sometime if possible in the future. Zorba is already 10 years old, and although his eyes is getting cloudy and his hearing is fading. His mouth and fur is turning grey and his teeth is getting less and less. His body is filled with old age pains but he never complains. He stay next to the ones he love, and guard them with passion. Stay warm my lovely boy. Enjoy mommies home cook meals. And Nanny will bring you meds for the pain when i visit you.
