A sales training I took years ago included a categorization of four primary types of customers. Though everybody is comprised of all of these, there is a generalized significant behavioral which most signifies individuals. This test is applied by those who know and observe you, not necessarily how you view yourself - 1. ANALYTICAL - These kinds of folks think in strictly factual data; they instinctively go not with feelings or intuition, but rather statistical data, numerical systems, logical processes of thinking - such as process of elimination and comparing and contrasting scientific or economic or mathematical data. These folks are sold only by strict statistical findings. 2. EXPRESSIVE - These kinds of individuals are typically categorized by a needful to communicate with others - whether it be by voice, by music, by the written or spoken word. These individuals enjoy being in the spotlight or a-swirl with the world of connecting and interacting with others. These kinds of people are mostly affected by slogans, significant themes of humanity as delivered in the arts, the larger purpose of Humanity and its causes. These kinds of people tend to be outgoing and uninhibited in persuits of interacting with others - 3. DRIVER - Hell or High Water, these individuals will achieve the goal at hand; they could care less who likes them, the seemingly insignificant emotional sentiments of those around them. Often, these types are impatient, they are extremely efficient and make autocratic leaders. They are perceived as very reliable because achieving is their utmost agenda. Anybody or anything which assists in the excelling of a system or group dynamics is what makes these often misunderstood ambitiously-minded ones most pleased. 4. AMIABLE - These folks are the ones who believe - and with often times every fiber of their soul - that above and beyond all achievements of mankind is the Humanity Factor. These folks work admirably to establish good sensations between individuals; they want to be understood and to comprehend what makes others tick. These amiable ones are not ruled by ego and high minded persuits of narcissistic means, but at a higher way where respect and certain mutuality between kind-minded and loving souls work in unison and pay homage to the gentler attributes of simply being good and kind and loving nature.
