A salute to the true heros in life: those who make the decision in life to donate their organs when they crossover to the Bridge. My beloved Pup and I had never really ever discussed the d word: so quite frankly I didnt even know he had the little heart on his drivers license. We both thought our love and our eternal bond would keep us alive forever. How proud Belle and I are that Pup thought enough about the world and all the wonderful people in it to make that choice. And a salute to the many many other heros on the donor wall. I am now an organ donor too. It is Pups little red heart on my drivers license. It truly is the gift that keeps giving. Someone is seeing, someone is walking, someone is breathing, and enjoying the holidays because of these silent heros. And as for me: as much as I loved my Pup in life, I love my silent hero even more now!!!!!!
