A satisfying, even touching, end to our rock course today. After the one-hour final listening exam, we watched the inspiring, wise, strange, and illuminating (and rare) British documentary It Was Twenty Years Ago Today (1987). When its hour and forty minutes concluded, I said to all, Thanks for a great semester and the class burst into loud, sustained applause. Lots of Thank you, Dr. Hicks! and *Best* class Ive ever taken! ensued. Let it be.
