A scar is defined as a mark left on the skin after a surface injury or wound has healed, that in itself implies healing. There are some people with nagging life-sores, wounds that never healed. We should all be grateful for the healing process. Some wounds heal without a trace and they are soon forgotten but the ones that leave a scar often make great stories as we recount those unforgettable experiences. Have you ever looked at the wounds in your life as wealthy gems? I am sure if you dig a little deeper and push aside the dirt you’ll discover the jewels that lie beneath the surface. The Bible tells us that those who fear and fail to share their testimony often loss the blessing they have previously received. As the world values Sapphires, Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds and Gold so God has placed great value on our scars. Let your stories be some the greatest treasures you’ll share. The world is filled with success stories of trials and triumphs however; most people do not like sharing their trials, only their triumphs. Meanwhile, there are many struggling women with no one to identify with, no one to use as mentors and motivators. Do not be selfish about where God has brought you from. No need to be ashamed of your past. Help change the world, one story at a time
