A scene from the Roger Corman exploitation film, The Trip, in which our hero, played by a very straight looking Peter Fonda, drops acid for the first time, wanders into the Whisky A Go Go, and ends up roaming the beach in Malibu in the company of druids or something. Soundtrack for this is performed by Michael Bloomfields new band, American Music Band--shortly to be renamed The Electric Flag. Interesting for the Hollywood take on what the hippie experience was all about (i.e., kind of hokey). But theres nothing inauthentic about Bloomfield ripping it up.
