A search is underway in Blair County for the driver of a van who police said tried to lure two children waiting for a school bus this week. Police said a man driving it approached a woman waiting with her two children for the school bus on Tipton Manor Road in Antis Township Tuesday morning. The man claimed there was something wrong with the school bus and he was sent to pick up the children, but the mother told police she sensed something was wrong and said she would drive them to school. Shortly after the man drove away, the school bus pulled up. The man is described as between 50 and 60 years old, gray hair and a gray mustache and a goatee. He was seen wearing a black and red baseball cap and a red flannel shirt. Anyone with information should contact state police in Hollidaysburg at 696-6100.
