A self sustaining solution to the worlds biggest problem today. Cellphone users crashing and killing people. Had this discussion on a good friends page the other day and wonder if anyone else thinks this is viable and, if so, whats necessary to make it a reality? Interested in your feedback. One of the discussions was creating an App for cellphones that would render them useless while in motion. I feel the problem with an app is the same as a virus detector programs, for every good one out there youll have 10 guys writing a program to defeat it. More dirtbags getting rich and not solving the problem at hand. I think the problem is in the Courts. Apparently over half the charges are thrown out and never become real to the cellphone user. If we can find a way to make all proven Charges stick, like a video of them in action, then you will see some attention paid to what theyre doing. We dont have the cop force to take care of this because theyre better utilized at a 7-11 being robbed or somebody beating on another person. But at $270.00 per offense the City could easily hire cellphone police that do nothing but cellphone abuse work and just pay their income out of the fines collected. I know for a FACT that just one of these specific cops could easily catch 100 people a day which amounts to $27,000.00 dollars PER DAY! Train 10 cellphone cops and that works out to over a quarter of a Million dollars PER DAY. Shoots the shit outta the reply we cant afford more cops theory. Every person that gets charged goes into a database and for each additional offense the fine is doubled. There would be no resources like paying it off through community services, you dont have the cash then they revoke your drivers license until its paid. Third offense the fines continue doubling but now the vehicle gets impounded. This is a serious problem and only serious action is going to lead us toward a solution. The problem is there are way too many bleeding hearts are there that wouldnt allow this because its too harsh but seem to be ok with these types of people continuing their killing rampage. Kinda like being a kid in the old days. Youre pulling your Sisters hair and your Dad says STOP, and you keep pulling her hair. He yells STOP again and you dont pay any attention. Dad walks up to you and puts you across his lap and tans your ass a bit and suddenly you stop pulling hair LOL Real results come with Real action. Also going to post this on the City of Regina page and see if theyd take this into consideration and let them know Id work for them on a 50/50 split of the proceeds :-)
