A sense of mission John9: 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam Every day we seek to find meaning in life. We want to know why we are here on earth and do to something with our lives that would impact this world, through which the world would receive from our gifts and our strengths. Seeing that blind man reminded Jesus of what He was sent to do. He saw opportunity in the needs of a blind man, whose name is not even given and about whom we learn from his neighbours that he had been sitting there begging everyday. He was an opportunity that was presented to them daily, but they did not see him as that, and thus neglected, blindness was now accompanied by begging. When human needs are not met, they multiply, and the tasks for redemption are much more. Have a sense of mission to others daily.
