A series of fronts will be tracking their way across the Midwest this weekend. The first front will move in this afternoon and bring a chance for isolated showers/drizzle along it. Lots of cloud cover today with highs around 50 and west winds gusting over 15 mph at times. Winds will diminish tonight and allow temperatures to fall to around freezing. Areas of frost will be possible overnight. A frost advisory has been issued for portions of the viewing area for Sunday morning. Any outdoor vegetation susceptible to frost should be covered or taken indoors. Despite the cold start, Sunday will be the warmest day of the week with highs reaching to around 60 is some locations. A low pressure system will be tracking north of Iowa and may bring a few showers/drizzle across the area again for Sunday. Winds will be from the south/southwest directions at 5-15 mph. Chilly for the rest of the week with highs only in the 40s and lows dropping into the 20s.
