A series of fronts will track through the middle of the nation for the next couple of days. These will produce rain showers today and tonight with some areas of thunderstorms by Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall amounts will depend on where the storms track through and how many move over the same areas, but 48 hour rainfall totals look to add up to over half an inch. And in some computer models, they add up to more than an inch. Highs today will depend on clouds and when the rain falls. We are aiming for the upper 60s to mid 70s, although if an hour or so of sunshine manages to break through, we will warm up a bit more. Highs warm into the upper 70s to low 80s tomorrow and Thursday with the next system tracking through. This will produce more showers and storms through Wednesday night with the next round Thursday night through Friday. Highs generally will stay in the upper 70s through the weekend with overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s into the beginning of next week. Monday will have another round of showers and storms tracking through the KWWL viewing area.
