A serious message from EL SCOOP...my principal at Gilmer Elementary School in the 1960s, Mr. Rex Price, is very ill tonight in the ICU at Good Shepherd in Longview. He was out driving just a few days ago, then began acting strangely. They are not sure why--they thought it might be the medicine he was on. His granddaughter Kendra Frankilin works for me in my store and she said tonight he caught pneumonia in the Gilmer hospital before being moved to Longview--and his heart is acting up. Mr. Price is close to 90 years old and announced Kennedys assassinatnion to us 50 years ago when I was nine years old. He is an absolutely wonderful person and I am praying, God willing, for his recovery.
