A shit ton of OPD just showed up in front of The Alan Blueford Center For Justice. Brent Green & I were just tryin to get some important anti-police terror work done here at the office when all the flashing lights & such disturbed our peace of listening to Killer Mike song BURN (see my previous post). I thought the protest was coming this way, so I ran out with my bullhorn, aka free-speech amplifier, and my video camera. I could see that there were HELLA police, but no protesters and my blood started to boil...so, I started talking to the police over my free-speech amplifier....in all my rage, I forgot I had a video camera in my pocket. I said over my powerhorn, whats the matter piggies?? cant find a bunch of peaceful protesters in #Oakland? To which a guy from a neighboring store here on Tele said, I wouldnt say they are peaceful I asked him if hed ever actually joined a protest. He said, well, Ive driven by I told him that its hard to judge whats happening from your car. In my vast in the streets experience of protesting in #Oakland, MOST of the people are peaceful & non-violent and it is a very small minority doing the property damage. I told him that the media hyper-focuses on the property damage & not the fact that the police are killing black people & getting away with it. I then got back on my bullhorn and told the police to leave, which they literally did.
