A shocking tale of two Britains !!! The gap between poor Britain and rich Britain widening and shows no sign of slowing down. - In 2008, the richest 20% had 92 times more wealth than the poorest 20% in society. However, one must note that after the coalition came to power, the rich had 105 times more wealth!!! - 1 in 10 homes technically owned by millionaires!!! - 25% of households(lets say 1 in 4) have outstanding credit card balance!!! - 24%(again 1 in 4 people) has no pension!!! (another undoubtedly worrying fact) - 10% of population own 44% of the nations wealth(£9.5trillion)!!! - 11% own collectibles or valuables!!! - 11% own second homes!!! In other words, a small elite are getting richer and richer while millions are struggling to make ends, whereas government claims that levels of inequality have remained unchanged!!!
