A shooting at an Indiana supermarket has left at least three people dead, The Chicago Tribune reported. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the Martins Super Markets in Elkhart, Ind. According to WNDU, a witness reported seeing the gunman enter the store through the deli door and open fire. Police arrived on the scene and a gun-battle ensued. The gunman died in the exchange. We believe it was a single shooter and he is dead, Sgt. Trent Smith with the Indiana State Police said at a press conference early Thursday morning. The shooter is described as a man in his early 20s.
