A short addition to this clip: There were mixed ages in the crowd and there was an older gentleman sitting in the front row who thanked me for the encouragement with regard to relationships, marriage and musicians. He is working professionally and still waiting for his one true love. Bravo! I have known so many unhappy artists, who would otherwise be thriving if not for irresponsible, or even rash judgement on the way to the altar. Love is supposed to involve mutual giving. No one has the right to dictate what day you should put down your dreams. Don’t sell your life away to a partner who will demand that you “produce” according to their dreams, while not supporting you equally in yours. Support each other. We should all work to build each other up. We should all support each other...but marriage? Marriage is not a partnership. Marriage is oneness or it is not marriage.
