A short story about a customer we helped. She lost her keys, wanted new locks, primarily her front door. She had an old fashioned lock set, one now that is primarily used commercially, and an average cost of $500. She called a handyman, he came, stripped the lock, ruined the mechanism, and suggested a new door. A door costs about $500 to install, and a wood door is close to a thousand. He said he couldnt help, left, and sent her a bill in the mail after HE did nothing but ruin the lock. She then called a locksmith. He said he couldnt help, the guy before him stripped it too much. There was nothing more he could do. She talked to people, bought a new, different lock set, and became discouraged. Her last attempt was a look at home advisor. There she found us, we had great reviews and were close to her home. She called and we were there the next day. We determined that a new door was an unnecessary expense. We also found that her current type of lock was more than she wanted to spend. We did our homework and determined that we could rebuild the holes from the old locks, and install the set she bought. We did just that. After 2 months of worry, we fixed the main door,.and changed out all of her existing locks. She can once again feel safe in her home with new locks throughout since she never did recover her keys. When we say that no job is too small, we mean it. We werent out to only make big bucks and suggest spending big bucks. We put in the effort and made it work. Thats what we do, thats who we are.
