A short while back AoP received an application from Officer Nathan Goetz, SRO Cordova High School, Phoenix. For the first time ever there was a group of young women at the high school that wanted to play softball.....so they played. A rag tag team with no uniforms and borrowed or no equipment. Officer Goetz asked us if we would buy these young women their team softball jerseys so we did;) Thanks to a little help from our friend Ron Price at Rockin Stitch and our amazing donors and supporters. We thought we would share Officer Goetz very heart felt thank you here: The school, the kids, the coaches and myself are all very thankful to you for doing this and being a part of making a difference. If we can change one child’s look or view on life, the police department, the school and just let them know that people really do care, then that makes it all worth it doesnt it?? I do thank you again for what you did and your excitement in doing it and look forward in working with Angels on Patrol in the future.
