A silly little poem to make a case for an annual holiday called iFree: We go from one machine to another machine Always in front of a screen You all know what I mean We go from facebook to facetime All these excuses to waste time Pre-iMachines we were all fine How cool to have your own landline Almost got hit by a car mid-text to see where my friends are I wish that we were iFree How refreshing it would be Even just for a day To free up more time to play And more time to talk Would make it safer to walk You’re undivided attention A luxury might I mention In this day and age It’s sadly not just a phase iFree. What day should it be?
