A sincere request to our business and industry elders. Sir/Madam- In order for you to make quick money today, do not compromise the future of youth like us and the generations that would succeed us. As the blasting of Salmon-killer Elhwa River Dam, last month, showed (a must see video below), if businesses or government invest in environmentally unsustainable projects, they would not be able to withstand the public uproar endlessly. Polythene bags industry in just another example of a unsustainable business that is making profits for some today while transferring the cost of cleaning up to the future generations- many of who are not even born today. And therefore such industries must move to sustainable lines of businesses. World would be much better off without plastic bags.
