A single event like death, disease, distress, discomfort of an individual may sadden an individual or a few of us. However, when you see the same event in a bigger or global picture only then you can appreciate that those individual events are necessary for the benefit of the total system. Just imagine what if death, disease, distress, discomfort did not exist at all? Could you imagine a world where each of us was equally rich, equally beautiful and equally intelligent? So heterogeneity is a must to make the world beautiful albeit it comes at the expense of many individuals who make their sacrifice.
