A sky of mixed fortunes today - mares tails serenely floating way up high, set in a sea of pale, rain-washed blue, while closer to earth, the heavy brigade of thick, cotton wool clumps that range from dark, dense slate grey to innocuous creamy billows, silver lined in the risen suns rays, are fairly charging across the skyscape, now blotting out the sun, then backlit with reflected glory as they slide and skid their way eastwards in a chaotic stampede... No rain at the moment, but the shiny rooftops and shallow puddles on the skylight below me attest that it has fallen quite recently - and quite heavily, too, by the looks of it - the plant-life will be very happy with things in this order... Like the rapidly changing sky above, an intermittent wind blows in erratic, anarchic bursts, to fall away to the softest of sighs, before renewing itself with a vigour born out of chaos, as the far treeline sways and bends in a dance of disordered celebration, before lapsing into cool, calm serenity, as if dancing couldnt be further from its mind... The sun, appearing in random bursts of majestic glory, lights up the fresh green bushes and shrubs, transforming them into gold and diamond studded opulence, rippling and swaying as the wind catches them, bright spectrums of refracted light flashing and sparkling, before they too lapse into peaceful quietude... Its most definitely a day of unpredictable conditions, so I guess I may have to drag the trusty brolly along with me, which may - according to Sods Law - have the effect of bringing the sunshine out... ;¬}
