A slightly different flying lesson today as I was meant to be doing classroom stuff due to the forecast weather not being good enough for an airborne lesson. However the weather cleared and we had a plane that needed to go to the airfield at Little Staughton for some repair work doing, so my instructor decided that wed take it as it would serve as a nav and away landing exercise. Id heard of the history of this former WW2 bomber base and I was dead chuffed to have ended up doing a landing and a take off there.
