A slow moving storm system continues to spin across the southern plains. Areas of light rain will stay a part of the forecast this evening and overnight. Rain should eventually come to an end early Saturday morning with temperatures staying just above freezing. This will help prevent widespread slick roads but slick spots may still be possible. Skies stay cloudy on Saturday with highs climbing to the upper 30s. A cold front comes through late tomorrow night bringing temperatures crashing into the upper teens by Sunday morning. We shouldn’t make it out of the upper 20s on Sunday despite mostly sunny skies. Next week is looking a lot quieter but still cold with highs staying on average around 10 degrees below normal.
