A small issue of Tinas Sony Xperia Z2 hanging/locking during a - TopicsExpress

A small issue of Tinas Sony Xperia Z2 hanging/locking during a firmware update brought us to the Sony service centre @ Metal Tech, off Juhu Versova Link Rd, yesterday. What followed was a shocking revelation of customer sob stories about non existent service, lack of information, and utter incompetence. People were waiting for 2-3 hours with no response fm the staff, defective handsets were being kept for 2-3 weeks with no information to the customers etc. And when Tina and I being the good Samaritans that we are, spoke up about the issue, we were met with a super arrogant attitude and utterly rude response by a gum-chewing ruffian whose name is Jaspreet. When I took his pic intending to publish it here, he tried using a threatening tone. When I calmly offered to call the cops he immediately softened up and became polite all of a sudden!! Hahah. To top it all, his manager, Ms Abha Gupta, did not seem to have the authority to compel him to apologize to us, in fact she could not even tell him to stop chewing gum while serving customers!!! She was anxious to cover up for him, and even refused to believe us, and when six other customers stood up to support our case, she still did not have the guts to assert her leadership. I wonder if Sony international knows that this is how their authorised service centres behave and hurt their companys image. Jaspreet eventually apologised to us and so Im not printing their pictures here, but I shall be sending the details to the higher ups in Sony -- we are convinced that we should avoid buying any of their products henceforth. By the way, my techie friend fixed the phone yesterday itself at home :) but apparently these software issues are common on their current handsets, so gullible customers beware!!
