A small poem I learned years ago that makes my heart ache a little & simultaneously brings a smile to my face. It speaks of the need to stop & consider whether or not we want to invite the unexpected into our hearts & our lives. It whispers of the magic of the divine feminine within each of us that might teach us a new dance, or give us wisdom about how our shared world is shaped by the choices we make & the rhythms we follow.~Oriah Advice by Bill Holm Someone dancing inside us has learned only a few steps: the Do-Your-Work in 4/4 time, the What-Do-You-Expect Waltz. He hasnt noticed yet the woman standing away from the lamp. the one with black eyes who knows the rumba. and strange steps in jumpy rhythms from the mountains of Bulgaria. If they dance together, something unexpected will happen; if they dont, the next world will be a lot like this one.
