A small taster of the wonderful Blake, Oliver Baines, Humphrey Berney & Stephen Bowman Did you know.... Blake formed in 2007 and took their name from the bands mutual appreciation of the poet William Blake and in recognition of the 250th anniversary year of the poets birth. During the bands career they have performed at Shirley Basseys 70th birthday, and their version of Swing Low was chosen as the official anthem for the 2007 Rugby World Cup plus performing to 80,000 football fans at Wembley Stadium and numerous other sporting occasions. Regularly singing for charity including, Marie Curie, Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation, Help for Heroes and The Royal British Legion they also released the song Beautiful Earth as the WWF anthem for Earth Hour 2010. Gorgeous harmonies and voices as quoted by the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey and A trio of surpassing musical brilliance as quoted by Sir Terry Wogan.
