A small victory, this is damn near as good as Autumn Reflection is going to look online, lest I host it myself. And even then Id be combating the same issues and limitations. Lamentably the original super-16mm negs were transferred in a Standard Definition NTSC codec for television broadcast. That encoding was never meant to be compatible with online viewing. The compression is tricky as hell, given that the intentional amounts of heavy film grain play havok with encoding. Until I or Novembers Doom decide to go back for a Hi-Def film transfer, this is about as good as its going to look.
