A small video of a honey bee seminar my father and I attended this Sunday near Windsor, Nova Scotia. Joe Goetz provided a very informative seminar even though he was struggling with the flu bug on Sunday. You are a trooper Joe! :) Joes page - https://facebook/scotianbeehoney You will notice when watching this video that there are many of us attending the clinic standing among many, many honey bees and no one is being stung. No one is even brushing bees away from their bodies, as you would be doing should that many mosquitoes be around you. Pollinators....especially honey bees mean you no harm and will NOT sting you unless they are threatened. It would be nice if folks could appreciate that not all bees are looking to sting you. Even wasps and hornets unless threatened will generally not sting. Thanks for watching, learning and sharing about the little insects that make summer prettier and food tastier!
