A snippet of the October 7 Center for Communication, Inc. annual toast/roast luncheon at The Pierre Hotel, on Fifth Ave. at 61st St. Ken Lowe, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Scripps Networks Interactive was roasted and toasted. Several years ago, I worked out a relationship with the Center which schedule numerous panel discussions and events and special arrangements for the benefit of Hunter students. It was a great relationship until it was eventually killed off by D:F/M Chairs engaging in avaricious self-aggrandizement - though some Colleagues keep insisting that theres a relationship. Anyway, Ive been invited to the luncheon for years out of recognition for what the Center and I once did. More about this later.
