A snowy, cold day; and you just want it to be a better day, and then it doesnt go that way! No time for coffee today. Had to prepare the prizewinning, black forest cake for our ladies get together today. Coleen and I were hostessing, decorating tables, fellowship lunch, Christmas gift exchange with our Secret pal, and serving dessert, 10:00 a.m. until 3:00. It really helped keep my mind busy, but got the text from Rhonda that Mom was not settling again and very agitated. Doug and Rhonda were there earlier, and we got there at 4:00. She is on a morphine drip now, and it took awhile until she settled down. She seems better when Rhonda and I are there together, allthough she still asks us to help her. It is so painful and helpless to watch her in so much distress. Corey and Chays came for an hour to see Grama. Corey hadnt seen Grama for a long while, and he was quite shocked. She didnt respond to him. She was resting peacefully when we all left by 7:00, and we went to Smittys. Was so good to see you Corey, Chay and girls. Thanks for coming with the weather not so great. I did manage to get some laundry done today.
