A soaking rain tomorrow will stick around for part of the weekend. A moisture-laden storm system will head toward the Carolinas tonight, keeping skies cloudy. Rain will develop by lunch time tomorrow, and will get heavier in the afternoon and tomorrow night. 1-2 inches of rain is possible with this storm system. The rain will continue into Saturday morning, then sunshine will return in the afternoon. Sunday will bring nice weather before a strong cold front moves through on Monday. It will probably stay dry Monday, but much colder weather will move in at night, and stick around into Wednesday.
