A soggy Sunday at Calmette Hospital, but Bayon TV returned to tape a sequel to their coverage of the Hearts Without Boundaries/Mending Kids International/Philippine Heart Center/Calmette Hospital mission. Hearts Comforter-in-Chief Bobby (Chantha Bob) and Calmette cardiac boss Dr. Hav Ratneary (Dr. Neary) did most of the talking (with Bobby handling the English-Khmer translation for others) but the most heartening thing were the five rapidly mending kids who will be headed home in a day or two. Dr. Bernie (Bernadette Azcueta) of the Philippine Heart Center also shared her thoughts. The kids looked great, especially in looking back to pictures of them from a week ago, and served as a reminder of what the mission was really about -- 24 hearts fixed, 24 families with bright new futures.
