A solid dozen contingent of the LBP visited the Collegeville Reenvisioned opening last night. Wonderful! What a full nite of biking and cultural fun we had! https://facebook/events/1404633673160364/?ref_dashboard_filter=past *A little riding, *then spectating bike polo (fun!) *then spectating an MSU Swim Meet (with Purdue) *then more riding and attending a Cold Weather Bike Skills Class *then more riding and discovering a fancy architecture opening about seeing our college town thru new eyes (which we always do on our urban rides!) *then more riding to Hopcat, which was hoppin. ...The 99.9% who couched-it instead couldnt *envision* it, eh? At the fancy soire (well catered and public) some of us mentioned feeling a little out of place in our winter-wear, hesitant to partake of minced olives and crackers. Well, we were the reason for the event, one could say. We are pioneers of the dynamics being discussed. Wed just been out experiencing the dynamics of the town firsthand. Indeed, many of us had actually just flowed through scenes depicted in the design displays! We were well suited to be there and to respond. And, tho it was unexpected to encounter a fancy event, winter-wear can easily look good. Even all the time. Just in case. But, really, when youre the subject of the study at hand: a resident using the spaces pictured, come as you are is suitable in any event. Remember: Expect the unexpected with the LBP! Discovery is the name of the urban bike party game.
