A sparrow came in through my dog door and flew from the kitchen, to the dining room, to the living room. I couldnt get him (tried with a throw blanket, but he was too quick). I opened the doors but he (or she) flew next to them instead of through them. He got on top of a corner cabinet that has a round back and dropped down behind it, in a small space, trapped. He chirped, fluttered a bit and then stopped trying. I couldnt move the cabinet, so I took out most of the china and then moved the cabinet out from one corner to free him. He wouldnt budge. I used the end of a broom handle to nudge him. He took off, flying around the kitchen, dining and living rooms all over again. He flew past the open front door. Finally, he got on the ceiling fan, stood for a couple of seconds and headed straight for the front door. I watched him fly away.
