A special announcement to my family and friends: Some of you - TopicsExpress

A special announcement to my family and friends: Some of you may know (or so ingeniously guessed correctly), I am now a licensed Real Estate Salesperson affiliated with Century 21 Galloway Realty, and Bill Galloway in Oswego. In order to obtain my license I completed several training courses and on July 23 passed the New York State licensing exam. (YAY!!!). Now I am asking you - my family and friends - to help support me in my new endeavor. How? Its easy. If you hear anyone talking about buying or selling real estate, mention my name and what a good job you think I would do. Then please call, text, message or email me so I can offer to do my job and help them. I may be new to the industry, but Ive had a lot of education and training, and Im backed by some of the top people in Real Estate at Century 21 Galloway. I know some of you may be afraid to recommend me because if I make a mistake it will come back to haunt you. But remember, I ran two successful businesses for a total of 20 years. In that time I negotiated the sale of both; worked through the expansion of the auto repair shop in 1996 which included the tricky process of securing a Small Business Administration 504 loan and 7a financing; in 2003 buying the campground business through auction; and over that time bought and sold vacant land and houses along the way. I wrote business plans, coordinated bankers, lawyers, contractors, insurances, employees, and negotiated contracts - all while raising my two adorable children. Most of you also know I was also elected and worked as the dreaded town board tax assessor, a job that I enjoyed and only gave up when my life transitioned and I moved to Phoenix. Why did I choose real estate? Well, as much as I love writing community news (and will continue to do so), it is a job that pays like a hobby. With the unanticipated revision of my long range life plan, I needed a career. When I thought about my skills: writing, photography, assertiveness, dependability, independence, communication, and reading comprehension ... then added my desires to be outdoors and to help cause community awareness and improvement, that pointed me in this direction. What better way to bring all my skills to bear and help affect my community than as an independent real estate agent? Yes, helping people locate their business, and buy or sell their homes was a very good answer. So, while I may be a little wet behind the ears, you know that I will work hard to provide the best service possible to all my clients and customers. And as my family and friends, I would never let you down. Love you all, Janet call or text 315-591-1898 email janet.rebeor@century21
