A special for today. For my friends. Feel free to add at the bottom. That woman....... That woman down the hall in 608, with a marker on her door of a leaf with a rain drop. That woman you just criticized. For being outside a hospital in a gown smoking because she didnt know how to cope. That woman was just in her hospital room Begging for pain management and was refused. That woman took all her courage she had inside and lived a lifetime in a brief moment. That woman you told it will be ok, youll have another. That woman had to tell her children we got angels instead and read the hospital provided story over and over again for them to understand. That woman had to plan a funeral instead of a welcome home. That woman you saw at the store and asked where are the babies. That woman you told needs to suck it up, let it go, it was just her imigination none of the last 6 months happened. That woman was alone in the darkest hours, grieved alone in a very dark cold place. That woman you suggested she take her momentos down, cause you thought it was unhealthy. That woman delivered not 1 but 2 stillborn that day. That woman will always be a voice for the silent and still. Ya, child loss is real no one wants to have to deal with it. Think before you speak! Put your self in a mothers place at that time. This is just a small amount of things grieving mothers face. That woman, was ME & many others. Until you are, that woman you will never understand how painful your statements can be to a mother in the early days after loss. One last thing... Grief has no timeline or expire date. Hugs to my fellow Angel Mommys! We have to be the voice of the change we want to see.
