A specific question requires a pointed answer! Were living in the last days and Im sure that everyone, who is in Truth, knows this. People everywhere are wanting to know more Truth than what they already have. They are desperately seeking an experience with God--what?--they themselves dont know but we have the answer for them!!! It lies in the Acts 2:38 message. The world is looking to the TV evangelists for answers; they are trying to find their answer in denominations, or even turning to occult beliefs. People are really wanting to do whats right, but their searching can only come to an end if we--the Jesus Name people, will be forthright in our answers and be specific in what we tell them. They are wanting specific answers. I am no longer holding back what I tell individuals--tactfully, mind you, and with great love. I was once in their shoes. I dont have a lot of time to skirt issues...Jesus is coming back very soon and I want to win souls more than ever before! The great crowd on the Day of Pentecost specifically asked Peter and the rest of the Apostles ...what shall we do? (Acts 2:37, KJV). The Apostles didnt hesitate at all in answering them and they gave them this pointed reply...Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38, KJV). I am no longer bashful, shy, backward of this Truth---I just keep reminding myself, what would I be doing now had those Apostolics who witnessed to me, not said anything at all about Acts 2:38. But God was merciful to me and my family--and my family and I are in Truth today because of a pointed answer to my specific question.
