A star in the vast, dark universe is set in its rightful place in its rightful time; it shines brilliantly, beautifully with a power from within. It does not will itself to shine nor force itself to shine, for its glow is intrinsic; it is what makes it a star. So are you set in your rightful place in this time, this moment, this life, shining brilliantly, beautifully with a power from within. Even when you do not sense it, it shines; even when you doubt it, it shines; even at your weakest, it shines. It is intrinsic; you do not need to will it into being nor force it into being. It is what makes you. It is the greatest part of you. Knowing this, let go of regrets to which you cling. Release the fear of what might be. Look inward and see the glow that the world sees. Know the innate rightness that is you. Then, comforted, surrender to the evening, to the vast, dark universe, and find peace in sleep. Good night, friend. Good night.
